This blog originally started as a travelogue.  I'm glad to have expanded it to cover my everyday life, too, but in case you're looking to hear about just some of my travels, you can find posts from my trips here. I've been so privileged to have experienced the places I have, and it makes me so happy to have a place to record those experiences here.

In case you're wondering, most of our travels center around food and art museums, but we love breweries, vineyards, light hikes, bodies of water, and historic houses, too.

You can probably tell this is a work-in-progress. I hope to record some past trips in the space one day soon.  I'm especially keen to write about my time backpacking across Europe in 2007 and a trip to Senegal in 2008. I'd also like to get older posts cleaned up, with bigger pictures and chain-links between the days. In the meantime, some of these photos will link to the first entry, and you can follow them through by clicking on the chain-link at the bottom of the page. Others will just bring you to the page for the whole trip, and you'll have to read backward or scroll all the way down and read up.
