Our Wedding

On October 21, 2017, a perfect autumn day in New England, my partner of 13 years, Roger, and I said "I will" and became husband and wife! We were married in a traditional ceremony at St. Thomas Episcopal Church and then celebrated our hearts out at a fun reception at the Dartmouth Skiway.

We love throwing house parties, so we tried to capture that atmosphere by decorating like we decorate our home—with vintage books, family photographs, and lots and lots of candles—and by serving the foods we most love, appetizers from cultures around the world, like bunny chow, samosas, and mole chicken wings. The DJ played some of our favorite songs, from "Best Thing" and "Old Pine" to "Kids" and "Just Dance," and our guests danced the night away.
